With the game tied at 4 in the 8th, the Braves take a 7-4 lead as Daniel Castro singles off Dario Alvarez to bring home an inherited runner and Adonis Garcia drives in two more runner off Bobby Parnell inherited from Alvarez.  After the Braves' Peter Moylan K's Ruben Tejada and Kevin Plawecki to start the 9th, Juan Lagares doubled, Curtis Granderson walked and Daniel Murphy hit a 3-run homer to tie it.  Mets scored 3 in the 10th on a error and 2 bases loaded walks to win their 7th straight.  

Mike Puma NY Post: "The Mets (82-61) secured their first winning season since 2008 and saw their magic number to clinch the NL East shrink to 11. The Nationals beat the Marlins 5-0 and remained 9 ½ games behind the Mets in the division.

National Pastime.comThe Braves extend their franchise-record home-game losing streak, dropping a dreadful 10-7 ten-inning decision to the Mets for their 12th consecutive loss at Turner Field. Atlanta was leading 7-4 before Daniel Murphy's three-run homer tied the game after the first two batters were retired in the top of the ninth inning.



Nationals beat the Marlins 5-0 to stay 9.5 games behind the Mets.
