Scouting Report - RHP - Fisher Jameson

Fisher Jameson

RHP      6-5     200      Park Vista Community HS (FL)

11-7-20 - PG -

Fisher Jameson (2021 Lake Worth, FL) made the most of his four innings at the World Championship as he struck out eleven hitters. The righty worked 90-93 mph with a good handful of 94’s. His solid three pitch mix and sturdy frame give him a good chance to hold that firm stuff and potentially add more as he matures.

 9-26-20 - pbr -

Positional Profile: RHP - Florida, Really trending in the right direction. Much more efficient, gets very good extension and fastball not only to the eye, but numbers show big life and upside.

Body: 6-foot-5, 210-pounds. Broad shoulders, long arms, lean and strong

Delivery: Simple, in line and has created more fluidity and rhythm. Clean foot strike and gets over the front side to extension fairly well and efficiently.

Arm Action: RH. The arm works long to short and stays in line with his body. It works very clean and easy and gets to extension easily.

FB: T92, 87-91 mph. Riding life as he averaged over seven feet of extension and 19.8 inches of induced vertical break.

CB: 75-78 mph. Some depth and threw for strikes.

SL: 77-79 mph. Tight and late action.

CH: 79-81 mph. Straight, true changeup.

 PG -

Fisher Jameson is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Park Vista Community. Very long and projectable frame with some strength in the lower half but still plenty of room to fill. Right-handed pitcher only, starts the windup with a small side step into a leg lift just above the belt, slight pause at the top, drives down the mound well with good direction to the plate. Full arm action with good arm speed through an over the top slot. Fastball shows some arm side run with good downhill plane to the pitch, fills the zone with it and generates some whiffs, good feel for a curveball out of 12 to 6 shape with big depth through the zone generating a good bit of swing and miss, also flashed some feel for a changeup that is still developing but has the makings of another good secondary. Overall tremendous upside with a three-pitch mix that sees success now and will in the long term as well.

Mack's spin -

Jameson really improved his draft status this past November at the World Championship.

I now have him as a solid mid-range second day pick.
