Considering he’s relied upon so heavily in the Mets’ bullpen, Pedro Feliciano was given a nice little break recently. Now, with about a week and a half remaining in Spring Training, he’ll be used rather steadily as he aims to prepare himself for what will probably be another 80-appearance season in relief for the Amazin’s
Look, there;s less tan 10 days until opening day. All us bloggers have to sto now, trying to figure out what a team should do when we don't individualy or collectively have the expertise to decide this process.
You have to decide at some point that the brass on th team you either root for or write for knows more about this shit than you do.
Le's just pay out the ST string and get on the the task of trying to keep our heads above water up to the ASG.

Mets and Computer:
NY Fan in NJ had a cute article on the five reasons his Mets are like his computer:
Finally, I can't live without it. Just like the Mets. It's a part of me. I love and hate this machine at the same time, just like the Mets. Sure, I could just go and buy a new one, change my experience. But I don't want to. Just like I could go and change my team, as so may band wagon jumpers do. I can't do that, I don't even know how others do. This computer and I have been through too much to look back now. Just like the Mets. So, I'll hang onto it in the hopes that it can be fixed, just like the Mets.
-frankly, I was thingking Betamax lately...
Murphy:
Daniel Murphy is starting to get the first-base knack, but how about a little more knock?
The Mets are sticking with Murphy, despite his spring struggles and a camp in which rookie Ike Davis sizzled. Davis was optioned to the Mets' minor-league camp earlier this week and he will begin the season at Triple-A Buffalo, just a phone call away if the 24-year-old Murphy doesn't produce. It has been a grind for Murphy this spring. He is batting .162 with two homers and six RBIs -- but hasn't made a glaring mistake at first base. nypost
Jordany Valdespin:
Valdespin is 22. He’s only 5-10, but a scout told me before the game that Valdespin really caught his eye. “He’s a player,’’ the scout said. Valdespin bats lefty and appears smooth around second. He also made a backhanded play and throw up the middle Luis Castillo could not have made. Valdespin has a little Joe Morgan flap with his left elbow going as he sets up to hit - kevin kernan
