The
New York Mets have acquired IF
Brandon Hicks from the
Oakland Athletics in exchange for cash considerations.
Mets Twitter Feed
Hicks had a triple slash line of .244/.350/.506 with 18 HR's for Oakland's AAA team where he spent most of the season. He did get 22 games with the big league club and hit 3 HR's during his time. However he also struck out in 31 of his 70 plate appearances.
(Meh...just another AAA filler guy. The story here is apparently the team has cash. That's always a good sign.)
Cash considerations, huh?
ReplyDeleteI like infielders that hit 18 home runs.
I like them even better if they hit them in the majors.
