Kingsport trailed early but tied the game in the 4th inning with RF Jeff Diehl (.421) second home run of the young season. They took the lead the next inning when LF Bradley Marquez (.143) doubled in C Adrian Abreu (.250), who had just tripled.
CF Champ Stewart (.500) singed in Marquez in the 7th with an insurance run.
Kingsport starter, Chris Flexen, went 4.0 innings, striking out six, walking only one, and not giving up any earned runs. Edioglis Villasmil and Ricardo Jacquez combined for five scoreless innings.
