FLASH: Matt Harvey to the Disabled List with Partially Torn UCL, May Require Tommy John Surgery















Matt Harvey hopes to avoid surgery by strengthening area.

(This ladies and gentleman......is why it sucks to be a Mets Fan. A torn UCL is usually indicative of Tommy John surgery in the player's future. You have to wonder if this is the reason Harvey has looked "human" over the past 3 starts. Now a PARTIALLY Torn UCL doesn't necessarily mean that he has to get Tommy John surgery but would the franchise really risk this injury NOT healing to only find out in March that he needs the surgery anyway? Absolutely terrible news.....)
