Relievers Justin Hampson (0 H, 0 BB) and Robert Carson (H, 0 BB, K) each pitched a scoreless inning.

Greg Peavy (W, 1-0) made the most of this opportunity to start after pitching exclusively out of the pen for Las Vegas: 6.0 IP, 0 R, H, 2 BB, 6 K.
Two Mets relievers, Ryan Fraser (2.0 IP, 2 K) and Jeff Walters (S, 31) (1.0 IP, H) kept the Senators off the board for the rest of the game.
