Mack Ade – AM Report – 9-12-13 – Radio Coverage, 2011 Draft

avatar - 2011 draft

The New York Yankees rights are among the biggest ticket sports contracts in radio and the team’s one-year extension with CBS Radio is up at the end of the season. Newsday reports the Yankees are close to a deal to remain with CBS, but move from all-news WCBS (880) to sports WFAN-FM & AM (101.9, 660) starting next season. A ten-year deal could be worth more than $150 million to the Yanks. Their move will bump the New York Mets off WFAN – bidding continues on those rights.

  1. I'm gonna miss the Mets on the WFAN, been listening to them on there for so many years now. I'm hoping the Mets end up on ESPN, I listen to it more nowadays anyway.
