FLASH - Mets Add 4 To 40-Man



Mets add LHP Steven Matz and RHPs Jeff Walters, Jacob deGrom and Erik Goeddel to their 40-man roster. Mets 40-man roster is at 40.

    deGrom, Matz and Walters were expected, but Goeddel comes out of the blue. I doubt Goeddel is in danger in the Rule V. I would have protected Allan Dykstra, Adam Kolarek, Cory Vaughn, and probably Daren Gorski before I proteced Goeddel.

    Goeddel still has upside so I can't fault the move.

    Hutch is just about good as gone though

    Your right. Thats why i cant understand how they kept those veterans on the 40 man roster. Qiuntella most likely wont break camp with the mets. I dont understand.

    They are probably saving cutting Q and Atchison for when they start signing/trading players.

    Still need to make room for those moves.
