The Giants released Chris Dominquez.
In 2013, he hit .294 for AAA-Fresno (466 at-bats), with 15 home runs and 65 ribbys.
2014... same team... .274 (496 at-bats) with 21 home runs and 85 RBIs
He played both corner outfield spots... and shortstop.
And he's only 27 years old.
What am I missing here?
In 6 minor league seasons he's played only 34 games at SS. He's a 3Bman/OFer! He's 28 and is probably never gonna make it!
