It’s far too early to begin to race the wild card race, right? Nah… Projected series in this week and who you should be rooting for:

Mets – 16 loses – 5/18, 5/19, 5/20, 5/21 vs. St. Louis

Cubs – 16 loses - 5/19  5/20  5/21  @San Diego

Nats – 17 loses – 5-19, 5/20 NYY

SF -   18 loses – 5/19  5/20  5/21  LAD

Atl – 19 loses – 5/19  5/20  TB

SD – 20 loses – 5/19  5/20  5/21  Cubs

Reds – 20 loses – 5/19  5/20  @ KC


Pitt – 20 loses -  5/19  5/20  @ Minn

    If the Yanks want to atone for getting hot only long enough to mess up the Mets, let's see them derail the Nats.

    Two ways to look at Wild Card: hope other teams lose, or you win. With Wright, d'Arnaud, and Matz all available very soon, and possibly Parnell and Black if thet are ever really ready, this team should be solid in fending off wild card opponents by winning.
