TRANSACTIONS - P Corey Oswalt



P Corey Oswalt has been called up by the New York Mets.

 At this point, no corresponding move has been announced thogu Chris Soto speculated on Twitter that it could be Paul Sewald who hasn't pitched since April 1st.

    Here's something else to consider...

    Nimmo needs to spend around 2 months in AAA for the Mets to have ONE ADDITIONAL YEAR OF TEAM CONTROL

    I can see getting Nimmo some additional playing time (which he wasn't going to get with the Mets right now), but I am not sure where Oswalt fits in?

    Eventually, he may challenge for a spot in a future rotation, but with Zack Wheeler also up with the big club, it seems a bit crowded?!?

    Nimmo was evolving right before our eyes. Hope he finds a solid niche.

    Maybe Nimmo is gone for just a short time. Using pitchers an awful lot right now. Need more arms for now. Starters go an extra inning or two, less need.
