Tom Brennan: Game 3 NLDS METS & PHILLIES

METS WON THEIR LAST GAME 3 NLDS IN 2015, 13-7, WITH THIS GUY

After the Mets gave Philly all they could possibly handle in splitting the first 2 games down in Folly Park, today is game 3:

Sean Manaea

V.

Aaron Nola

Location: Citi Field

Start time 5:08 PM

Mets will have a roaring home crowd.

If/when the Mets advance to the NLCS, they will be packing a Squirrel.

Jeff McNeil will join Kodai Senga in forming a squad as strong as ANY.

The Mets hope to sweep the Phillies at home in these 2 games and avoid a game 5in Philly.

PLAY BALL!

BTW….That game 3 NLDS at home against the Dodgers in 2015?

Matt Harvey trailed 3-0 after one inning. The Mets then proceeded to score 13 of the next 14 runs in a 13-7 win. Harvey got the W, and Bartolo Colon pitched a 2 inning hold.

13-7 sure sounds nice.

  4. Gary, stay safe. My wife and I considered a waterfront condo property just north of Tampa 2 years ago. Concerned then that a Milton could happen there. So we didn’t. I hope the residents down there all make out OK.

  5. Vientos needs to “go historic” in these playoffs. Of concern is that Florida is home for a number of the players. Which, I don’t know. But Lucie is on the East coast, so any residences there should be OK.

  8. Gary, on the light side, if there can be one with something like this, can you imagine how far Kingman would have hit the ball with the “wind blowing out” like that? Measured in miles, not feet.
