ReplyDeleteGlad to see those 3 guys heating up. Hope their K rate is coming down as averages go up
ReplyDeleteI like all three but I'm just not sold on any of them yet.
DeleteThornton is an interesting one. Great season start. In contrast, fellow lefty David Peterson was just 3-6, 4.19 in 24 starts in AA in 2019.
ReplyDeleteMet will be putting injured starters in a holding pattern soon to eventually lasd in Queens
DeleteFirst to land... Blackburn
Then Montas followed by Manaea
I just don't see room for Thornton here
AJ Ewing has been simply amazing so far this young season.
ReplyDeleteRight now odds on favorite for eventual starting centerfielder at Citi
DeleteMaybe Jonah Tong can legally change his name to Tong Seaver. Has a ringto it.
ReplyDeletedidn't Tong win American Idol last season?
ReplyDeleteMack, did you hit a comedy show or 2 on your trip to NYC...you're killing it.
ReplyDeleteBlackburn is just a place holder for Montas. Montas has to earn his spot in rotation, not a given.
Manaea, I'm dumbfounded with this one. How long does it take to heal. Dude, rub some dirt on it and get your fat ass back in shape. (looked a little pudgy in spring training). We really need this guy to perform like last year or we are screwed.
New attitude

Wait til you read tomorrow about my Uber driver having phone sex with his girlfriend while he was gridlocked on the Van Wyck with my daughter and I in the back seat
DeleteTong Seaver is impressive, but I like King Tong better. He is a wooly beast on the mound.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 big free agent signings - Soto, Manaea, Montas - are looking a little sketchy right now.
Vito. Is Devers available?
ReplyDeleteEwing - BABIP is .451; Reimer - .406; Benge - .374. and Mercado - .400.
ReplyDeleteAre these sustainable or a reflection that they over match the pitching in A+ and should be moved up?
Vito Guys get hot and then they get cold.
