More good news: Jonah Tong was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week by Minor League Baseball for the second consecutive week and OF Nick Morabito was named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week spanning May 12-18.
Glad to see those 3 guys heating up. Hope their K rate is coming down as averages go up
Thornton is an interesting one. Great season start. In contrast, fellow lefty David Peterson was just 3-6, 4.19 in 24 starts in AA in 2019.
AJ Ewing has been simply amazing so far this young season.
Maybe Jonah Tong can legally change his name to Tong Seaver. Has a ringto it.
I like all three but I'm just not sold on any of them yet.

Blackburn is just a place holder for Montas. Montas has to earn his spot in rotation, not a given.
Manaea, I'm dumbfounded with this one. How long does it take to heal. Dude, rub some dirt on it and get your fat ass back in shape. (looked a little pudgy in spring training). We really need this guy to perform like last year or we are screwed.
Tong Seaver is impressive, but I like King Tong better. He is a wooly beast on the mound.
The 3 big free agent signings - Soto, Manaea, Montas - are looking a little sketchy right now.
