Mets have reached out to Justin Wilson in the last day-plus about a potential return to the bullpen. Indications are he would prefer to remain with the Mets, but it’s unclear if they have extended him an offer. He could be looking to decide on a team this weekend.

Ok I will choose to not complain this time. I'm an Ali Sanchez fan but Mets their decision regarding 40 man and might as well get a few bucks for a guy that likely gets claimed anyway if not traded. Wish him well. Good glove, line drive, gap hitter, low K rate at plate. https://t.co/IhgZxPYwyL

ReplyDeleteNot all bad - minor leaguer swill get significant raises from extremely woeful all the way up to somewhat passable.
Best Mets hitter of all time, long term, yes, I'll go with Keith. Shorter term, Jeff McNeil.
Oscard de la Cruz (sounds like a prize fighter) added to Mets' Top 30, but I also wonder how Bryce Montes de Oca will do this year. Hopefully both will be de-lightful.
Ali Sanchez departure to Cards from the 40 man teaches us one thing - only 40 men can fit on the 40 man - somebody's gotta go every now and then.
