  1. Joan Harrison .. 2 decent years but I’d reluctantly take Walker instead .. neither excite me

  2. Wouldn't you rather read the following?

The New York Mets and Marlins OF Giancarlo Stanton have agreed to a deal for Steve Matz, Bradon Nimmo, and 'mid-level' prospects.

Apparently, the Marlins are giving the Yankees a big discount.

We are # 2 and not trying harder.

    1. Talked to a yankee fan friend of mine - the SS prospect is good but never would have made it to NYC .. pitcher acquired recently .. doesn’t know much about him

  3. Count me out on Harrison, Kipnis and Walker unless he wants a cheap one year deal. Kinsler as a bridge to Gullorme makes more sense.

  4. I like Harrison from your list....he is likely to be easier to obtain and he is versatile.

Ugh.....you wonder how the Yankees continue to make deals like this! If the Mets were interested, they would have to deal Noah, Jacob and our top three prospects. Then, with our luck, Stanton would some down with a mysterious illness that puts him out for the rest of his career.

Instead, the Yankees (reportedly)unload a high priced/redundant player in Starlin Castro (Gleyber Torres is ready to go), along with mid-level filler and they get a monster bat to pair with Aaron Judge.

The Marlins should hold out for a deal that starts with Gleyber Torres, not help the Yankees even more then giving them Stanton.

    Makes you wonder.

  5. Makes me wonder if this might help us fill our 2B hole. Castro is signed for 3 more years for a total of $37 mil, and he's only 27.

Reasonable numbers, but the Fish are looking for bargains. Might a package of Wilmer, Gsellman and a MnLer or 2 pry him away? Worth checking IMO.

  6. Kinsler, Kipnis, Harrison or Flores? Come on! Spend the money on pitching.
