He really srated earning it yesterday, going 5.0-IP , 7-K, 1-BB, 1-ER, 2-H, for the GCL Mets. Stats for the yung year so far: 4-starts, 16.1-IP, 18-K, 9-BB, 6-ER, 3.31.

7-13-10: - Zavala is off to a good “start” in Savannah… he relieved in his fifth game last night (didn't he win the Sterling Award in 2006 for... hitting?) and his yearly stats so far turn a head: 5-G, 10.0-IP, 4-H, 0-ER, 0.00, 10-K, and 0-BB. Last year he had 25-K and 27-BB in 40.0-IP. Someone’s been working on their accuracy in the off-season.
Old stuff on Zavala:
Zavala started pitching for the Mets in 2008, for the GCL Mets. He went 2-3, 3.38, in 11-games, 6-starts, and had 25-K, 27-BB in 40.0-IP. Don’t even ask me what his WHIP was.
7-13-10: - Technically, at 25-years old, Fisher isn’t a prospect anymore, but he is hitting .393 (28-AB) for Binghamton this year, and he also has hit .313, and .354 for two moe teams this year… which, btw, totals to: .358 in 109 at-bats. We’ll keep an eye on him…

From TalkingChop.com: - Fisher's inclusion on this list is a clear sign that Atlanta is not deep at second base in the Minor Leagues. Despite being several years old for the league at 24, he put up a poor showing at Myrtle Beach, hitting just .238 with a .590 OPS. He showed almost no power, slugging just .296, and doesn't have the speed to make up for it. Add on to that the 18 erros he made and things aren't looking good for Fisher's future. He'll be entering 2010 as a 25 year old, so at this point Fisher can't be looked at as anything more than organizational filler. He's likely to return to Myrtle Beach if only to supplement the roster and aid the younger players. Even if he is able to make a dramatic turnaround in his career, he'll need to prove himself at AA and AAA before he can be counted on for Atlanta's future.
