B.A. Vollmuth:
6-12-10 from: - link - Southern Miss star B.A. Vollmuth (.386/.490/.729), who Keith Law ranked as the ninth-best Cape Cod League prospect a year ago, is definitely a third baseman down the road, but he’s well-equipped. Vollmuth had a 39.6 TTO% this year, developing the patience he needed
6-13 from: - link - SS, B.A. Vollmuth, Southern Miss, 6'4 210, R/R, power potential and ML arm strength, range and foot speed are biggest opportunities, could play the corner or move to RF, vulnerable to good off-speed stuff at collegiate level, would have to adjust even more at ML level, 240 type hitter for me 15-20 HR power.
Kameron Brunty:
6-13 from: - link - OF, Kameron Brunty, 6'1 160, R/R, S. Miss, solid hitter with power and 55 runner, better on the bases, shows enough arm to play solid OF, also hustles beyond expectations. Deceptive strength.
Peter O’Brien:
6-12-10 from: - link - Smaller School Sleeper: Peter O’Brien, C, Bethune-Cookman, .386/.445/.748. The MEAC Conference MVP, I can’t give you a lot of background on O’Brien. He’s said to have a big arm, clubbed 20 home runs, and earned an invitation to the Cape Cod League for the summer. That’s good enough for me.
Kyle Hendricks:
6-13 from: - link - RHP, Kyle Hendricks, Dartmouth, 6'2 185, has arm strength and throws strikes, command and consistency on release biggest keys to success and exposure over the summer.
Joe Sclafani:
6-13 from: - link - SS, Joe Sclafani, Dartmouth, 6'0 185, R/R, solid arm, adequate range and glove, puts the bat on the ball and shows occasional gap power.
