2011 Draft: - Sonny Gray, Adam Smith, Gunnar Thompson, Jason Esposito... and Will Lamb

Sonny Gray:

6-13 from: - link  - RHP, Sonny Gray, Vanderbilt, 5'9 180, quick quick arm, will run it up there, from 90-94, occasionally 95-96, he has to keep the ball in on RHH and down and away. Breaking ball explodes when he's in rhythym, other times very readable. Competes and wants it!!

Adam Smith:

6-13 from: - link  - SS, Adam Smith, Texas A&M, 6'3 200, R/R solid arm, ok range and hands, may end up moving from SS, makes enough contact to get to ML, 250 type hitter, 10 HR type.

Gunnar Thompson:

6-13 from: - link  - LHP, Gunnar Thompson, Cayuyga HS, Texas 5'10 barely 170, L/L, competitor with solid breaking ball and control, upper 80's mostly, enough there to improve another 3-4 easily come 2011 and summer circuit.

Jason Esposito:

6-12-10 from: - link  - The most well-rounded player up the middle is Jason Esposito (.359/.453/.582), who really came into his own in year two under Tim Corbin at Vanderbilt. He’s now patient, with developing gap power and a threat on the bases (career 50-for-59). Maybe a third baseman in the end, but a five-tool one …

6-13 from: - link  - SS, Jason Esposito, Vanderbilt, 6'1 195, R/R, may stay at SS in ML, can play anywhere, puts the bat on the ball, runs good and solid arm. Competes.

Will Lamb:

6-13 from: - link  - LHP, Will Lamb, Clemson, 6'4 1/2 200, lefty with presence, consistency has lacked, will occ show 91-92 on gun, mostly upper 80's, tends to rush, summer will help put him back on the map, loves to hit too, but must concentrate on one position for future.
