LAST GAME: New Hampshire cracked four homers, accounting

for 11 of its 15 runs in a 15-5 rout of the B-Mets last night at

Merchantsauto.com Stadium Tuesday night. Josh Stinson

bore the brunt of the blow with his worst loss to date. The right

-hander allowed eight runs on five hits over 1.1 innings. He

walked four and gave up two homers. Major League rehabbing

catcher John Buck led the way with a pair of homers in

four trips to the plate, driving in six runs in the process. The

Fisher Cats led 11-0 after three innings. Binghamton rebounded

by batting around in the fourth. 10 men came to the

plate and chalked up five runs against New Hampshire starter

Kyle Drabek to get the B-Mets back in the game. That proved

to be all the offense for Binghamton though as the bullpen

would shut it down the rest of the way. Drabek picked up his

league-leading 13th win despite allowing five runs on nine hits

over five innings. Brahiam Maldonado went 2-4 with a double

and an RBI to pace Binghamton.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP: LHP Mark Cohoon looks to

bulid upon his best Double-A start tonight in the middle game

of the series. He worked seven, strong innings at Harrisburg

August 10 and limited the Senators to just a run on three hits

with five strikeouts to win his second game. Cohoon is 2-3

with a 5.80 over nine starts (45 IP). He opened the season

with Savannah and racked up a 7-1 mark and a measly 1.30

ERA over 13 starts (90.1 IP). His ERA paced the South Atlantic

League, as did his three shutouts. Cohoon was a New York-

Penn League All-Star last season with Brooklyn (SS-A) thanks

to a 9-2 record and a 2.15 ERA over 92 innings. The Mets

drafted him in the 12th round of the June 2008 draft out of

North Central Texas College.

RHP Zach Stewart gets the call for his 23rd start with the

Fisher Cats. He has garnered no-decisions in his last four

starts, including his most recent outing, August 13 at Altoona,

where he hurled 4.2 innings and allowed three runs on eight

hits. Stewart is 8-2 with a 3.75 ERA over 120 innings. Tonight

is his fifth start against the B-Mets. He is 1-1 with a 6.98 ERA

over 19.1 innings against Binghamton. Stewart opened 2009

as a starter in the Reds organization, making 14 starts in

between Sarasota (High-A) and Carolina (AA). However, he

finished as a reliever with 20 appearances in Triple-A. The

third-round pick of the Reds in 2008 out of Texas Tech was

traded to Toronto along with Edwin Encarnacion and Josh

Roenicke for Scott Rolen last season.
