Mets Option RHP Sean Green to Bisons as rehab assignment ends
Bisons Place RHP Tobi Stoner on disabled list
The New York Mets today announced that they have recalled RHP RYOTA IGARASHI from the Bisons. The Mets also optioned RHP SEAN GREEN to the Herd as his major league injury rehab assignment came to an end.
The Bisons today announced that RHP TOBI STONER has been placed on the disabled list with a right shoulder strain.
Green has been with the Bisons since joining the club on a major league rehabilitation assignment on July 31. The reliever was 0-0 with a 5.40ERA in seven appearances with the Bisons (8.1IP, 8K). Green was placed on the Mets disabled list on April 11 with a right intercostal muscle strain.
Stoner has spent the majority of the 2010 with the Bisons and was 6-10 with a 5.97ERA in 23 games and 22 starts with the club. He ranks third on the Bisons innings pitched (120.2), starts (22) and strikeouts (83).
Igarashi was 2-1 with a 3.52ERA and two saves in 14 outings with the Bisons (15.1IP, 15K).
