Jack Armstrong:
8-27 from: - link - RHP Jack Armstrong Vanderbilt 6'7 220 - bulked up a bit since HS which is ok, fb is still there velocity wise, has improved up to 94, but his pitches are all over the place and mostly up in zone which hurt him during his soph jinx year. Now it's time to get back to basics and use his 3 pitch arsenal and prove he's capable of being a 3-4 man in the big league rotation. Will tend to drop elbow which has been his opportunity thus far since HS. If everything gets worked out, he could be someone we talk about like Chris Volstad was out of HS and is now in the ML.
Scot Hoffman:
9-3-10 from: - link - 53. Scot Hoffman - RHP, 6'4" 190, Desert Ridge HS (AZ) - Long and strong frame, good pitcher's body, fastball 87-92 and there is more in there, slow 66-68 mph curveball has to improve.
Noe Ramirez:
8-27 from: - link - RHP Noe Ramirez Cal State-Fullerton 6'2 185 - live arm with heavy fb in low 90's mostly, touches 93 on occ, hard 11/6 cb that has late drop action, excellent command and plus control, adding straight change more to repetoire.
John Hayman:
9-3-10 from: - link - 55. John Hayman - RHP, 6'0" 226, Ware County HS (GA) - Big thick bodied kid with a power arm, fastball was 87-92 and when he was comfortable it was mostly 90-91, occasionally fringe average 68-75 mph curveball, inconsistent delivery but good arm.
