Ynoa struggled a bit early after hi step up to St Loo-See, but he sure has righted the ship. Great work, Mr. Y.

After a miserable April, Ynoa has a 1.18 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 8.53 K/9 and an amazing 0.95 BB/9 in May and June. Bingo bound?
Another player who has righted the ship since a so-so April is L.J. Mazzilli. In May and June his slash line is .336/.424/..544 with 6 HR and 21 RBI. I hope he can sustain this level, but that is a high hurdle.
I think Maz gets promoted after the AS game, right?
I went to the Dunedin/St Lucie game last night (how could you miss it.....it was bacon and craft beer night).
Ynoa was fantastic.......granted, I am not a professional scout, but he was sitting at 93-94 with his fastball (lots of movement, strikes and weak contact). He also threw two other pitches, one consistently at 83 (change up?) and one consistently at 73 (breaking ball?).
Long story short, he toyed with the Blue Jays for seven innings. Not sure how the Mets view him going forward (starter or reliever), but he looked damn good last night.
The catcher (Cordero) also unloaded a monster home run to right/center that hasn't landed yet. He looks good defensively and has a nice arm.....not sure where he falls on the prospect tree.
Lastly, Nimmo got drilled in the right forearm with a 90 mph fastball and left the game. He was still in the dugout at the end, so maybe just precautionary?

Boy, the Ynoa velocity/pitch quality data looks like Montero, and the ERA etc. since April is awesome. Get him to Bingo - Pronto!
Yep, Mazzilli's #'s are sterling - he needs to move south a few hundred miles to St Lucie ASAP. Take Jeff McNeil with him, who has also been outstanding, and tell Herrera "sorry, you'll just have to go play in Binghamton now."
With guys like Mazzilli, McNeil, Herrera, and Reynolds, and other guys like Rosario further down, I am totally good not drafting Trea Turner and trying to get a slugger in the draft.
