Seven members of the 2013 SAL Champion Savannah Sand Gnats were named to the annual all-star game.
Manager Luis Rojas will join starters SS Gavin Cecchini, and 3B Jeff McNeil on the field.

As long as Akeel makes the National League All Star team in a few years I am cool with that.
Pretty mystifying. He deserved it a lot more than Cecchini.
Tim Peterson is another who deserved a nod. With a WHIP of 0.76 and 13.32 K/9 along with 1.44 BB/9 he should be there. But I guess they can't pick too many from one team. Mazzilli's recent surge may have been too late to get the selector's eye.
