I’ve heard it on really good authority over the years that the Mets could have probably annulled the trade over Zambrano’s undisclosed injury issues but didn’t want to pursue it. https://t.co/pObufisgPt

Worcester Red Sox 7 Syracuse Mets 4 (Box Score) Brandon Nimmo made a rehab assignment for Syracuse and played 3 innings going 0 for 3. He is expected to play again for Syracuse on Friday and Saturday. Thanks to a three run HR by David Thompson and a solo shot by Jake Hager Syracuse built a 4-1 lead. Worcester made it 4-2 with a single run in the 4th, then in the 5th, Syracuse Manager Chad Kreuter said that Thomas Szapucki made “one bad pitch” as he allowed a 2 run HR to Josh Ockimey to tie the game at 4. Thomas left with a man on in the 6th and was charged with the run when it scored on a Mason Williams error. Sam McWilliams gave up a 2 run HR in the 7th. Trey Cobb threw a scoreless 8th.

Any news about pitchers Venturi or Corneilly? What is the problem with Dibrell, Octanez?
Raw,
Tony Dibrell is on the Binghamton Roster - he pitched one game, 2.1 innings, 1 run.
Michel Otanez has pitched 3 games for Brooklyn - 4 runs in 2.2 innings .
Jordany Ventura is on the 60 day DL
Joshua Cornielly - he would most likely be down in St. Lucie - I will ask around (my contacts are in Syracuse and Binghamton)
