One correction: he is 22, not 19. I want less walking, more hitting, from Reimer. 28 walks in 42 games is nice, but a .207 batting average in AA is highly disappointing. He is yet another guy with huge home field disadvantage: .157 at home, .250 on the road. Stangely, he hit 70 points HIGHER at home than the road in 2025. And…the killer…just 5 for 51 with RISP this year.
His last 3 full seasons (2023, 2025, and this year) he hits significantly better in day games. Does he have a vision issue?
Reimer's key skill has always been the power bat. His glove will not get him to MLB. Swing often, swing well young man.
