Tommy Coyle:

Coyle is the older brother of Sean Coyle, who was drafted by the Red Sox in the third round of the 2010 draft, and while he is arguably one of UNC’s top position players, he isn’t likely to break into that three-rounds territory. Coyle had a stellar sophomore campaign, hitting .318, second on the team, with 36 RBI, a 38:22 BB:K ratio and 18 steals. He led the Tar Heels with 83 base hits. On defense, he was solid, posting a .963 fielding percentage while splitting time at second base and shortstop.
Hoby Milner:

He served as a stalwart out of the Longhorns' bullpen during his freshman year in 2010, and assumed a more crucial swing role last spring. Milner, who throws in the upper-80s with a big breaking curveball, may be looked upon as a weekend starter next year for a Texas team looking to redeem themselves after a quick exit from the College World Series this year.

Really closes his hips, which gives him good torque and produces a mid 90’s fastball – touching 97 mph. His fastball has very good late life and has a very good change-up. His delivery is smooth and balanced and he repeats it well. His mechanics are extremely easy and loose. A quick worker, gets it and goes. He is also a very good athlete and moves well off the mound to field his position.

Lucas Giolito managed to strike out Trey Williams in a contest between Harvard Westlake ace Lucas Giolito and Valencia third baseman Trey Williams. Lucas Giolito is bound to go to UCLA unless he goes to the MLB. The Orioles need more pitchers to boost their team ERA and Baltimore is thin on pitching prospects. I’m not sold on Dylan Bundy and I really believe Lucas Giolito could become the ace of the Orioles rotation with the proper development.
Jackie Bradley:

Bradley was drafted by the Boston Red Sox 40th overall in the 2011 MLB Draft after a sub-par junior campaign. Heading into the 2011 season Bradley was ranked at or near the top of most publications for college position players. He could run, hit, defend, and even had serviceable power for an up-the-middle skill player. However, this year the train came off the tracks and he only hit around .240. With the implementation of a new bat throughout college baseball, that allowed scouts to get a better feel for his hitting at the next level, thus causing his stock to fall.
Justin Jones:

Jones will be searching for his 10th victory of the season in the CWS, and if he gets it, he would have posted back-to-back 10-win campaigns. As a freshman, Jones made an immediate impact, going 10-6 with a 4.22 ERA in 18 games (15 starts). He tossed two complete games and joined Renda on the Freshman All-American Team. This season, Jones stepped up his game, posting a 2.93 ERA, tossing three complete-games, and finishing first on the team with 119.2 innings. He also led the Bears with four pickoffs.
Kevin Gausman:

With a relatively unexperienced Tigers staff, he was asked to step in immediately during his freshman year to contribute as a weekend starter, and performed admirably. He has flirted with triple digits since topping out at 94 at both the 2009 National Showcase and the Aflac All-American Classic the same summer, and continues to have one of the highest upsides of any player eligible for next year's draft as a draft-eligible sophomore.
Hoby Milner:

His father Brian player in the Blue Jays organization for 5 years. Milner’s fastball comes in from 89-91, with reports as high as 93. His curve is a good offering and comes in at 78-80. His change is also a quality pitch. Milner has a 3/4 arm slot and a high leg kick.

He had a breakout season this year, hitting an even .300 with 42 RBI and 22 steals. He also showed an incredible eye at the plate, notching seven more walks (43) than strikeouts (36). He should easily eclipse all of those numbers next year as he continues to grow and mature. And yes, he is related to Carl Yastrzemski. Mike is his nephew.
Christian Walker:
7-8-11: - http://mlbdraftguide.com/1/2011/07/09/christian-walker-2012-draft-profile - South Carolina games were must see in 2011 because of Jackie Bradley Jr. Tuning in to watch the Gamecocks, the first player that jumped out to me was first baseman Christian Walker. Walker’s bat stands out, but he is also a good all around player. Walker is not just a power hitter, he is a good hitter. He goes to the plate with a good approach, takes pitches, and hits the ball where it is pitched. He has quick hands and is able to turn on inside pitches. Walker also looks good defensively at first base. After breaking the hamate bone in his left wrist at the College World Series, Walker was expected to miss the finals against Florida. He was able to deal with the pain and play with the injury, adding toughness to his resume.
Hoby Milner:

While there won’t be any players of Taylor Jungmann’s caliber, there will be a decent group of veterans led by LHP Hoby Milner. Milner was one of the Longhorn’s hardest working players this season, making nine starts and 21 relief appearances. He finished third on the team with seven victories and notched an impressive 2.53 ERA and struck out 60 in 81.2 innings. Milner also excelled out of the bullpen in 2010, posting an ERA under 2.00 and about one strikeout per inning. The scrawny (6'2", 165) left-hander was drafted back in 2009 by the Nationals in the 44th round.
Gavin Cecchini:

His father Glenn is the coach at Barbe and played in college, while his brother Garin was chosen in the fourth round of the 2010 draft by the Red Sox. Gavin’s mother is also a good athlete and played basketball in college. Cecchini is an athletic shortstop and good all around player. He has a nice, simple swing with good bat speed. He barrels the ball regularly and shows flashes of power. Cecchini has good range and a solid arm at short. He runs a 6.6 60.
Patrick Weathers:
6-30-11: - http://www.prospectwire.com/pw/article.php?id=268 - Patrick Walther, 2B/OF, 2013, Tequesta, FL - All-American Prospects (South FL Team) - The 6'0/175 pound Jupiter native has shown versatility on defense, bouncing between the infield and outfield. When you see a player bouncing around on defense, it's usually a good sign that the player's bat is too good to not have in the lineup. Coaches will usually find some kind of spot to put a player, whether that is 2B or the OF in Walther's case. And that theory holds true for Walther, who shows batspeed, pop, and some juice to all fields. Walther is an above average runner for his age, clocking in at 7.1 at last year's JOs as a freshman.
Trey Williams:
7-9-11: - http://diamondprospects.blogspot.com/ - The son of former first-round pick Ed Williams, Trey is a true 5-tool player at 3rd Base. He is as physically gifted a baseball player as there is and he compliments it with a great hitting approach at the plate. He already has a plus hit tool and shows monster power to all fields. Williams hit a towering opposite field home run in game action at PG National and he should have no trouble adjusting to wood bats as a pro. He has average speed but has quick reactions in the field and grades out as plus at the hot corner with at the very least an above-average arm. I believe he has the upside of a more athletic Mark Texeira when he was drafted and the Pepperdine commit should be drafted within the top 10 picks of the 2012 draft
