Clearwater 4, Lucy 1
The forgotten SP prospect, Eric Niesen (3-2, 2.16 in 9 starts) pitched Tuesday night.
Clearwater struck first, with a home run off of Niesen in the yop fo the 3rd; however, 2B Greg Veloz singled in the bottom half of the inning, stole second, and came home on an Ike Davis single.
Clearwater went back into the lead, 2-1, in the top of the 4th on Dominic Brown’s 7th home run of the season.
Not Niesen’s best outing… 4 ER in 7.0 IP
