2011 DRAFT: - Austin Hedges, Archie Bradley, Connor McKay , Tristan Moore... and Grayson Garvin

Austin Hedges:

8-18-10 from: - link  - On the other side, Austin Hedges (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.) knocked a double to left-center and made a terrific throw to nail Baez attempting to steal second in the first. Baez got a great jump on the pitch and I had conceded the bag, but Hedges had other ideas. I wondered if maybe Baez lacked speed, but he showed plenty when legging out a triple to right-center in his next at-bat. Hedges just made a great throw.

Archie Bradley:

link  - RHP, Broken Arrow HS (Okl.) -- Bradley is one of the more imposing arms on the slate at Aflac, standing at 6-4/215 and producing easy low-90s fastball velocity. His breaker is a hard low-80s offering with tight spin, which he throws with confidence. Like Derek "Bubba" Starling (who participated in Under Armour's All-America Game this weekend), much of the excitement surrounding Bradley stems from the fact that his attention has been divided between baseball and football, and big growth could come in short order should he decide to focus on the mound. Also like Starling, the talented Oklahoma two-sport standout is highly touted as a quarterback -- he'll be playing college ball (baseball and football) in-state should he forgo professional baseball next summer.

8-18-10 from: - http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/article/the-2010-aflac-all-american-baseball-classic  - The only other pitcher to work more than a single inning, right-hander Archie Bradley (Broken Arrow, Okla.), retired the side in order in the fifth and sixth, fanning four in the process. Bradley, who has committed to play football (quarterback) and baseball at Oklahoma, featured a fastball in the low-90s and didn't allow any solid contact.

Connor McKay

8-12-10 from: - http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/high-school/events/under-armour-preseason-all-america-tournament/2010/2610524.html  - -OF - Regis Jesuit HS, Aurora, Colo. McKay has a hard-to-find mix of tools. He is one of the fastest players in the class despite a 6-foot-4 frame, running 60-yard dashes in the 6.3-second range. He has an above-average arm from the outfield and generates bat speed with lift and pull power to his swing. He is also being recruited by Division I football programs as a wide receiver.

Tristan Moore:

7-26 from: - http://perfectgame.atinfopop.com/4/OpenTopic?q=Y&a=tpc&s=114295945&f=6174069131&m=3221081702&p=4  - Here are some names of draft eligibles for 2011 who have not been mentioned much and are definitely on the radar for 2011 MLB scouting depts. – Outfield - Tristan Moore, Wright State, 6'2 200, R/R, can flat out rake, throws well, runs solid ave, better between the bases, also plays first. Strong kid!

Grayson Garvin:

8-18-10 from: - http://thecollegebaseballblog.com/2010/08/17/cape-leagues-grayson-garvin-bfc-whitehouse-winner-for-top-pitcher  - In a pitcher-dominated season, Bourne’s 6-6 southpaw Grayson Garvin (Vanderbilt) stood above all others, winning the BFC Whitehouse Top Pitcher Award in the Cape Cod Baseball League for his outstanding season on the mound. Garvin’s perfect 5-0 record, along with his league-leading 0.74 ERA in 36.2 innings pitched, was enough to earn the award over other pitching notables. Garvin racked up 37 strikeouts, while allowing only 12 walks and 18 hits, and held opponents to a .146 average.
