LAST GAME: Binghamton got a quality start out of its starter

for the second straight day, but lost 5-4 as the bullpen squandered

a 2-1 lead after the sixth. Chris Schwinden hurled six

innings and limited Harrisburg to a run on two hits with six

strikeouts to take a no-decision Wednesday afternoon. The

Senators plated four runs in the seventh. Four straight hitters

reached against the combination of Eddie Kunz and Roy Merritt,

yielding three quick runs to vault Harrisburg into a 4-2

lead. Dylan Owen followed and permitted an RBI single to

Brad Coon that proved to be the difference in the game. Josh

Satin homered for the second straight game, a two-run, eighth

-inning shot off Dan Leatherman that inched the B-Mets within

a run of the lead. In the ninth, Binghamton put runners at

second and third with no outs, but failed to score. Cole Kimball

settled down and stranded the bases full in picking up his

fifth save. Tom Milone picked up his second straight win over

the B-Mets with a seven-inning, two-run effort highlighted by

seven strikeouts. Satin was a perfect 3-3.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP: RHP Jenrry Mejia looks to

build upon his best start of the season tonight. He worked 4.1

scoreless innings versus Trenton and allowed just three hits

and struck out four in the no-decision. With the B-Mets, Mejia

is 0-0 with a 1.17 ERA over three starts (7.2 IP). The 20-yearold

righty appeared in 30 games out of the bullpen for New

York (NL) at the start of the season and recorded a 3.25 ERA

over 27.2 innings. Mejia made 10 starts for Binghamton last

season and was winless with an 0-5 mark and a 4.47 ERA

over 10 starts (44.1 IP). The Santo Domingo, DR native is a

member of the Mets’ 40-man roster and was signed as a nondrafted

free agent April 4, 2007.

RHP Mike Cisco is due to make his 12th start of the season

for the R-Phils tonight. He suffered the loss in his last turn

through the rotation, August 7 versus Erie, when he allowed

seven runs on eight hits over four innings. Cisco is 3-8 with a

5.37 ERA over 58.2 innings. He opened 2009 with Clearwater

(High-A), where he was 7-3 with a 3.31 ERA over 73.1 IP and

closed year with Reading (AA), with whom he was 2-4 with a

4.58 ERA over seven starts (39.1 IP). Cisco was drafted in the

36th round of the June 2008 draft out of the University of

South Carolina. He is considered the No. 23 prospect in the

Phillies organization by Baseball America. Cisco is the grandson
