His secondary pitches are a work in progress right now. Davis also flashes plus power at the plate from the right side and has committed to East Carolina.

He was very impressive in batting practice, launching balls into the top level seats in left field at Wrigley. Rookie is a monster physically, standing at 6’5’’ and 220 pounds, likely leaving him limited to first base as a position player. Davis has plenty of bat speed and while his timing could use some work, his hands work tremendously well, barreling pitches with good tilt even when he is fooled. On the mound, Davis worked 90-92 with good command of the fastball and also showcased a hard-biting 11-5 curveball at 74-76 that has above average potential.
Travis Harrison:

He is an RBI man with plus raw power and though he might only be an average hitter at best, his hits are not soft. In many ways he reminds me of Carlos Quentin of the White Sox.
