After coming back from a 5-0 deficit by scoring in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings, to tie the game, the Mets let it slip away in the 12th.
Eucebio Arias (1.0 IP, R, 2 H, 0 BB, K) and Jose Medina (4.0 IP, 4 R, 2 ER, 5 H, 0 BB, 4 K) gave the Nats the lead.
Waldo Rodriguez, (1.0 IP, 0 R, H, BB, K) Tyler Badamo (2.1 IP, 0 R, H, 0 BB, 5 K) and Erik Manoah (1.2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, BB, 2 K) held on as the Mets came back to tie.

Hey Herb - Travis is just a pounder, man, an extra base hit machine. I hope he can get his Ks down. He could be a big league slugger. Matz very good, and Leather is pitching great in relief. Two lethal lefties who should be showing up in Queens pretty soon. And Flores has a million RBIs since he was sent down, give or take a few.
