Here are nine things you need to know before the debut of baseball under the Dome roof:
1. Where and When: The New York Mets final spring training workout will take place inside the Dome at Syracuse University on Tuesday, March 26. The event will run from noon until 2 p.m. Gates for the event will open at 11 a.m.
2. Where to Park: Since the event will take place on a regular academic day at Syracuse University, parking will be limited around the Dome. Fans are encouraged to park at Skytop on South Campus as they would for a regular football or basketball game and take the free shuttles to the main campus bus stop at College Place (see attached diagram). Shuttles will begin running at 10:30 a.m.
3. How to get tickets: This event is free to the public, but fans will need a ticket to enter the Dome. Fans can claim their free ticket at https://oss.ticketmaster. com/aps/syracuse/EN/link/buy/ details/nymets

- Choose number of tickets and click “Find seats.”
- Click “Add to cart.”
- Login to your MyCuse account or create a new account if you do not have one.
- Choose mobile entry or print@home delivery method and click checkout.
- Read and agree to terms of use by checking the box and select “submit order.”
- Click “manage my tickets” at the top of the screen to print the tickets as a pdf or login to cuse.com/mycuse from your mobile device to download your ticket via mobile.
Fans can also pick up a ticket the day of the event by visiting Gates A, B, C and E. All security protocols that are in use for Syracuse University events will be in place for the New York Mets workout.
4. Will food be available?: Dome concession stands will be open at Gates A and D.
5. What entertainment will be at the event?: The Mets Perk Patrol will be in the house, along with Mr. Met! The Perk Patrol will be throwing t-shirts into the crowd and interviewing players and fans on the video boards. Mr. Met will be on hand, making his first visit to Central New York! In addition, the Mets House DJ, DJ Razor, will be spinning tunes at the request of players and fans. Plus, Scooch and the Syracuse Mets Fan Experience team will also be at the Dome.
6. What about the baseball?: Reigning Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard, newly acquired star Robinson Cano and the full New York Mets roster that will be headed to Washington to open the 2019 season two days later will be inside the Loud House! Fans will watch the Mets stretch and run, take batting practice in the batting cages, take infield practice and throw off a specially built mound created specifically for this event.
7. Is this event a fundraiser?: While this event is free to the public, the Mets Foundation Syracuse Fund will be accepting donations at the gate and will host a live raffle with great Mets prizes. These prizes are:
- four tickets to a Mets game at Citi Field with access to batting practice
- a first-pitch experience at a Syracuse Mets Game with tickets and food included
- a Jacob deGrom autographed baseball
- four tickets to a Mets game at Citi Field with access to batting practice
- a first-pitch experience at a Syracuse Mets Game with tickets and food included
- a Jacob deGrom autographed baseball
8. What about the Syracuse Mets?: Scooch and the Syracuse Mets staff will be on hand to help and promote the upcoming season, which begins on Thursday, April 4, at 2:05 p.m. at NBT Bank Stadium. Syracuse Mets tickets will be available for purchase at Gates B, C and E.
9. How is all this free?: This event is free to the public thanks to the great support of our community partners with the Syracuse Mets, including NBT Bank, Visit Syracuse, Ephesus Sports Lighting, Embassy Suites at Destiny USA and Cumulus Media.
