Okay, I'm concerned. We've seen the Mets already make a series of clearly poor decisions. Dom in Game 1, Nimmo in Game 1, Conforto in 3 at Game 5, Stroman through the rain delay -- and it's early.
It feels like flawed thinking that goes against, oddly, any decent analytical thought.
Another one is that Guillorme should absolutely be on the field when Stroman pitches. He's an extreme groundball pitcher, as we all know. I think this is the kind of thing that any thoughtful Mets fan sees and understands.
Now maybe that will still happen. But I was surprised to see him start Game 1 with Walker on the bump. Is the plan to have him play BOTH games of the DH?
We shall see!

Great Point about Guillorme Jimmy. Maybe he will play 2B for Stroman and Villar will play 3B.
Guillorme 4 for 7 so far this season, gold glove...and he can't play regularly.
