When the Mets traded for a reliever with a 1.9 ERA on an expiring contract, they gave up José Butto, Drew Gilbert and Tidwell. What did they get back when they were selling?
I think that trading him to a division rival was a sin.
I don’t care where Raley goes, but that Stearns has been wreckless with the prospects and the money is obvious.
Trades like this simply shows how overrated Stearns really is.
For his next brain twister, he will sign a bunch of useless BP arms for 2027 and overpay all of them.
Can't wait to see what his 400M 2027 Mets will look like.

Honestly, at these returns I’d rather do the Yankees a solid and “give” then whoever they need. They can give us Low “A” scrubs like these also.
