Quite a good game for the VSL Mets.
They beat the VSL Mariners, 7-0.
The Mets had 14 hits, including C Hector Alvarez (.417) going 2-2, with three runs batted in, and 3B Jairo Castillo (.163) knocking in three runs also.
Starter Jose Hernandez (2.25) threw five scoreless innings, striking out seven. Piggybacking P Edioglis Villasmil threw four more innings for the shutout.
