Somehow I just can't see Depo and team taking a third baseman w/ this pick when SS, 2B and C are far greater priorities AND there would appear to be more interesting bats still on the board. This will really be a 2-3 round draft, so I am hoping somehow we get something great with both top picks. Can't wait!!!
Shaffer's not even going to be a third baseman at the next level. (At least I can't see it happening..he's not a great defender)
No way we would pass on Fried in this circumstance. I'd take Heaney here too.
