Thursday night's game between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Greenville Drive has been cancelled by rain. Since the two teams were already scheduled for a doubleheader Friday, and do not meet again in the first half, the game will not be made up.
Friday will be a Thirsty Friday at Historic Grayson Stadium where fans can enjoy half-priced draft beer and soda.
The Gnats will send RHP Miller Diaz to the mound in game one and then RHP Robert Gsellman in game two. The Drive are scheduled to send Jamie Callahan in game one. First pitch of Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. Gates to Historic Grayson Stadium open at 5:00 p.m. The radio broadcast on News/Talk 630 and Sandgnats.com begins at 6:00 p.m. - team press release

This team wins so often, Ernie Banks would definitely be smiling and saying "Let's play 2.". Half priced beer and 2 games? Savannah's population may double if they keep that up.
