Tylor Megill rehab start in Binghamton


Tonight, Tylor Megill pitched a rehab game for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies as part of his path back to the NY Mets.  Megill pitched 2 2/3 innings giving up 2 hits and one earned run with 4 strikeouts and no walks.  His next rehab start will be in Syracuse.  See the post-game interview courtesy of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies here.

Important story. But let’s not forget what his relief pitcher Joander Suarez did.

19 batters up, all retired, 7 Ks. PERFECT.

Last start, one run in 6 innings.

Why the heck is he still in AA, while Vasil has allowed 25 runs in 20 innings in AAA? Switch them.

Suarez has been on quite a run over the last 12 months or so, including last year's no-hitter.
