Interstingly, we have Dice K gyro ball and now...jairo Perez is back! Rehabbing in GCL aftrr a several week injury exodus, he' picked up right where he left off with 6 for 9 in 3 rehab games.
Boy, another pitching dandy for Bowman, who seems to be coming on real fast, and Muno comes out with his 2nd three for four game in a row. Suffolk County's own Ty Badamo is looking very good this season.
I believe Victor Cruzado is on an absolute tear over his last several games...good for him.
7 guys went 3-4 last night (Muno, Abreu, Lawley, Herrera, Rivera, Ceciliani & Evans). On top of Jairo's 3-3 and Cruzado's 2-2 w/2 BB's.
Not to mention the starts by Bowman, Ynoa, Koch & Badamo.

Expectations have been high for the pitching inventory in the minors this year and many have made the strides, but it is very nice to see some offensive talent flashing this year, even if it is mostly in the lower levels. I am interested to see if they push either Lupo or Becerra past Brooklyn next year and go right to Savannah. Both represent probably the best bop ceilings and have shown the sort of plate discipline that would be needed for an aggressive assignment. Although Smith is likely to move to STL and Conforto may start there, how nice would it be to see Conforto, Smith, Rosario, Becerra, Lupo, Urena and maybe even Cruzado all on the same team to start the year. I cannot remember a year where the Mets had so much offensive talent on one team. I would like to see both Lupo and Becerra skip Brooklyn and hopefully one, if not both, end next year at STL
Actually, I have not looked for a while but I think Vegas and Binghamton either lead their leagues in offense or are top 2. But a team like that in Lucie next year would be exciting.
Lots of hitting in Mets 2014 minors - I think we might just have the best offense combined from the four full season teams of any org in baseball. But you only hope that out of quantity comes a few major league real hitting chips. Like hopefully Dilson and Nimmo (and Conforto) will be.
