That’s right, in 2016 the Mets opened the season in Kansas City and
Conforto was the DH. Yoenis gave him company in the all time Mets Opening Day List when he DHed to open the season last year.

Some of those guys started a lot of openers because they were really good on good teams. Some were on anemic teams that could not find anyone better.
I sure am looking forward to tonight's starting line up - clear skies, nice temps, hopefully no lightning storms to force a postponement.
I do miss minor league ball, too. LET MY PEOPLE PLAY!
