NY Post: Short-handed Mets drubbed by Diamondbacks. "With Murphy now on the disabled list for at least the next two weeks, Friday night seemed like what could become par for the course for the Mets: a meek showing at the plate in a 7-2 loss to the Diamondbacks at Chase Field...The D’backs broke the game open in the eighth with three runs against Carlos Torres and another against Jack Leathersich after clinging to a 3-2 lead heading into the inning. After four straight clunkers, Niese (L,3-6) was respectable, allowing three earned runs on six hits with one walk and eight strikeouts over six innings."

10 years ago? I wonder what the Mets line up will be 10 years from now?
Always expected more from Cuddyer than we got. I guess we picked him up just a little too late.
