Look for some movement soon on the starting rotations for the four Mets minor league teams.
Right now, due to the promotion of Ken Takahashi, and the fact that Oliver Perez wasn’t sent down, there are only four starters on the Buffalo roster (Jon Niese, Dillon Gee, Nelson Figueroa, and Brandon Knight).
What if Takahashi throws a gem and is kept around longer than the usual Kight-Figgy one-game-and-DFA-them that usually goes on with the Mets?
The B-Mets rotation is set, and the only person who deserves a bump up right now is converted shortstop Ryan Coultas.
Lucy contines to currently operate with five starters (Brad Holt, Jenry Mejia, Scott Shaw, Angel Calero, and Eric Niesen) and, if the bump continues. Look for Calero to move up.
That would open up one sot for the seven starters (Jeurys Familia, Eric Beaulac, Chris Schwinden, Robert Carson, Kyle Allen, Elvin Ramirez, and Jeffrey Kaplan) to bump to Lucy, though all of them aren’t ready.
We’ll see.
