Minors Report - Cory Vaughn, OF,
• OF prospect Cory Vaughn seems to be a determined young man this spring. He’s off to a fast start, homering in the first Binghamton pre-season game, and going 3-3 in the second game. Vaughn will be the first to tell you that he had a shit season in 2011 and let his emotions get the best of him at times. This is a good kid with a lot of talent who needs to learn hom to approach this game an inning at a time. Don’t count him out yet.
• Speaking of Vaughn, it’s hard to determine exactly where he will start the 2012 season. Buffalo looks to be Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Juan Lagares, either Mike Baxter or Adam Loewen, and either Vinnie Rottino or Raul Reyes as the backup. This leaves Cesar Puello and Matt den Dekker as starters in Binghamton, with Rafael Fernandez, and Pedro Zapata penciled in as the third and fourth outfielder at AA. That would leave Vaughn to repeat St. Lucie alongside his wingman, Darrell Cecilliani, Gilbert Gomez, and either Javier Rodriguez or Alonzo Harris.

I know I keep asking... any Ratliff sightings?
Yes.
He's playing for Buffalo today and "Rat" reports he's cleared to play.
Now he has to find somewhere to play.
