AAA-Syracuse has sent P Joseph Zanghi to AA-Binghamton
AA-Binghamton placed P Joshua Torres on the IL, as o 5-31
I
don’t know which move here was the chicken or which one was the egg. My guess
is the Torres (AA: 10-apps, 9.92)move came first which gave the struggling
Zanghi (AAA: 5-apps, 6.35) to try and get his game straightened out to the
levels he put out earlier this year for the B-Mets (12-apps, 0.04)
P Louis
Coleman was promoted from Low-A Brooklyn to… wait for it… AAA-Syracuse.
I
didn’t even have his name on my excel sheet.
Coleman
is a 33-year old ex-5th round 2009 pick by KC. He’s pitched for five
organizations, the last being Detroit in 2018 (51-app, 4-1, 3.51, 1.31, 51-IP,
41-K, 24-BB). He was signed by the Mets on May 28th

A+
St. Lucie CF, Quinn Brodey, (.285) hit his 5th
home run of the season.
Brodey
is quickly becoming a must-follow for me and I look forward to him playing in
Binghamton soon.
Look,
he’s 23-years old and, if he the real deal, we need to get him to climb the
next three rungs before his hair turns grey.
A+
St. Lucie RP, Darwin Ramos: 3-I, 0-ER, 3-K, 0.00
AA-Binghamton
RP, Ryley Gilliam: 1-IP, 3-ER, 4.96
One
must start to wonder if this kid is being moved too fast.
AAA-Syracuse DH, Matt Kemp: 2-3, 2-R, .308
AAA-Syracuse RP, Stephen Villines: 1.0-IP, 0-R, 2.13
