Wouldn’t it be so cool if everyone can stop their afixiation with Kris Bryant and start banging the drum for Tovar? LOL! I could see it now: Joel Sherman writes this long article on the benefits of signing Tovar. Jon Heyman can write how eight or nine teams are after Tovar in a frenzy. Ken Rosenthal in The Athletic writes a 3,000 word article on how Tovar has changed his swing after watching Rod Carew’s tapes and has added power after working with Barry Bonds…

Great stuff Gus and Tom. Asdrubal Cabrera is also raking in Venezuela. Added that in to try and give some context to Tovar. Still, it is great to see.
John, whenever someone mentions how Asdrubel Cabrera is doing, it makes me wonder how his twin, Odubel Herrera, is doing 😄
