Mack, I put together a spreadsheet with all the picks and the signing status, bonus, cap room, etc. as soon as we have a few confirmed signings official, ill get it up and update it once or twice a week with the details like I did last year.

Who do u think will go over bonus out of the top ten? Do u think smith goes for less than $2.8 mil? Also Mack did you give us your opinion on the entire draft as a whole from the Mets prospective? I know nothing about these guys and can't find anyone else's opinion either.

David Groveman did an excellent "cheat sheet" on the picks over at www.mets360.com.

Check it out.

My opinion is based after talking to 'friends' of mine at professional scoutng organizations who tell me that the Mets had one of the best drafts out of all 30 teams.

They did say it's "high risk, high reward" and won't pan out until 2017-2018, but the general "professional" opinion is that Sandy and Company is doing an excellent job of replenishing the Mets minor league system in the past three drafts.

This also translates that the current team will not be competitive in 2014 and 2015 unless they reach outside the organization for help.
