Pedro Feliciano, recently promoted to AA, pitched a perfect inning, with 1 K. Since arriving at Binghamton, Perpetual Pedro has yet to allow a hit in 3.1 innings of work.
Jeff Walters, (W, 4-2) called on to get 2 outs in the 10th inning, gets the win without allowing a baserunner.

Steven Matz pitched 6 scoreless innings, (2 H, 3 BB, 9 K) before giving way to Julian Hilario, (L, 4-3) who was called upon to pitch a 2nd inning of relief (MISTAKE!) and allowed 2 R on 3 H and 3 BB, (with 4 K) getting only one out in the 8th inning.
Cole Frenzel: 2-4, 2B.
Brooklyn (2-3) bows to Aberdeen (1-5) 5-4 in 10 innings.
After coming back from a 4 run deficit and scoring 4 runs to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th, reliever David Wynn (L, 0-1) gave up a run on 1 H and 1 BB in the top of the 10th to take the loss.
Seth Lugo started and went 4.0 innings: 1 R, 3 H, BB, 3 K.

GCL Nationals (2-0) edge GCL Mets (0-2) 3-2.
Tim Byrdak, in the 1st appearance of his rehab assignment, pitched a hitless innings at the start of the game, allowing only 1 BB with 1 K. Good to see Timmie on his way back. I had a long conversation with Byrdak during spring training, and he said he thought he would be ready by July. He proceeded to fool around with all the kids sitting near the bull pen and tossed them all bags of candy. You’ll never meet a nicer guy. Ah, but I difress.
Marcos Molina, who followed Byrdak, gave up 2 R, 3 H, 0 BB and got 9 K in 4.2 IP.
Gaby Almonte, (L, 0-1) pitched the final 3.0 innings, allowing 1 unearned run on 2 H, 1 BB.
Offensive bright spots for the Mets were:

And Mets 1st round draft pick, Dominick Smith, who went 2-4, with an RBI in his pro debut.
