Baseball Reference: Giancarlo Stanton becomes the Marlins all-time leading home run hitter when he slugs #155 for his career off Dillon Gee of the Mets. He was tied with Dan Uggla since being hit in the face with a pitch late in the 2014 season. However, the Mets go on to win, 7 - 5.
Down 3-0 in the 5th, Wilmer Flores ties it on a 3-run homer. With the game tied at 5 in the bottom of the 7th, Lucas Duda and Michael Cuddyer each single in a run for the 7-5 Mets win.
Mike Puma New York Mets: Lucas Duda’s clutch hit propels Mets to fifth straight win. "In a disciplined seventh-inning at-bat, Duda went to a seventh pitch against the Marlins lefty reliever before slapping the go-ahead RBI single in the Mets’ 7-5 victory at Citi Field. Duda finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, helping the Mets win their fifth straight and fourth in a row to begin their home schedule. The hit also lifted Duda to 4-for-8 (.500) against lefties, a season after he hit just .180 against southpaws."
The win put the Mets 1/2 game ahead of the Idle Braves for 1st place in the NL East.

I never anymore thinking that Flores would make the majors, no less be a star.
He was a very quiet, almost timid young man in the minors that always seemed to be producing just below levels needed to excite both coaches and fans.
I'm so happy for him right now.
He is off to a great start this year as well with twice as many HRs as Soto and a walk off and 21 RBIs.
